Jennifer Zeidner, co-founder of Long Island Divorce Mediation Group, graduated from St. John’s University School of Law. She was trained as a Mediator by the Long Island Dispute Resolution Centers and as a Divorce Mediator at the New York Peace Institute by Robert Kirkland Collins, Esq., of Cardozo Law School. In addition, she has an educational background in social work and psychology, and those studies also inform her practice.
Jennifer has been appointed by the NYS Superintendent of Financial Services and contracted with American Arbitration Association as a No-Fault Insurance Arbitrator. In fulfilling those duties, she conducts hearings and issues decisions in cases to award or deny benefits under the No-Fault Insurance Law.
She chose and pursues her work as a mediator and as an arbitrator because she believes that, in this litigious society, going to court should be a last, not a first, alternative. Her success has proven that philosophy accurate and helpful, as her clients have negotiated, instead of battled to, sustainable, fair, and complete divorce agreements.
